Write your selected letter, as well as other similar-looking letters, in several places (spaced out!) inside the pumpkin drawing.
4
Ask your child to identify the selected letters by circling them inside the pumpkin.

!

TIPS
  • Strengthen your child’s working memory by incorporating multiple-step directions into the activity, i.e., ask them to circle the uppercase letters I and J or to circle the green As and blue Os.
  • Relay the selected letter to your child verbally instead of writing it down on the top of the page to assess if they can recognize the letter without visual clues.
