This cotton ball art activity is great for sensory play and introducing little ones to color!

MATERIALS:

  • Cotton Balls
  • Clothespin
  • Paper
  • Paint

INSTRUCTIONS

Demonstrate for your child how to clip one wooden clothes pin to the center of each cotton ball. See if they can continue the process themselves.

Space out different colors of paint on a paper plate or palette.

Let your child dip the cotton balls into paint and create their own artwork on paper, cardboard, or aluminum foil.
