Who says coding is only for adults? Your child can also learn the concept of ASCII coding and train their fine motor skills with this activity! The binary bracelets are special as only few would understand the meaning behind it.

  • Beads (2 or 3 different colors)
  • String
  • Scissors
  • ASCII Code Reference

INSTRUCTIONS

Write 3 letters that represent your name (in alphabet)

Translate these letters into binary using the ASCII code that computers read

Assign a color to each number and create a bracelet using this code
4
Refer to Activity 2 on the activity sheet below for guidance
